Job Description

This international school was established in 1978 in Kuala Lumpur and has grown to be an IB World Schoolwith 2500 pupils spread across 5 campuses in Kuala Lumpur, Johor Bahru, Penang, Ipoh and Subang Jaya. They are looking for Secondary Design Technology Teacher to join them from January 2015. Applicants should have subject degree / education degree and ideally a minimum of 4 years post qualification relevant teaching experience. The school follow the IB but having previous IB experience is not a pre-requisite of applicants.

In-house training will be provided. The schools’ concern is to find quality teachers. Salaries are dependent on experience and qualifications (ranging from RM 2000 – 4800 per month depending on qualifications and experience) and the school also offer Professional Development, furnished accommodation, airfares (for teacher only) at the beginning and end of contract and hospital coverage. Once resident, tax rates are very low (between about 5 and 15%).
