Clerk / Asst Executive / Executive
Responsibilities :
- To perform data entry and data verification of unit trust applications
- To ensure timeliness and accuracy in processing and maintenance of unit trust applications
- To ensure all reports generated from the systems are accurate. To check all information printed before sending out to respective parties
- To maintain and ensure proper filing of reports and documents for easy retrieval
Requirements :
- Minimum SPM / STPM / Diploma and/or Bachelor’s Degree in any field.
- Able to work independently with minimum supervision
- Able to work long hours
- Able to prioritize work with good time management
- Good typing skills
Executive
Responsibilities :
- Assist in monitoring of Remisiers’ trading activities and other related retail business activities to ensure compliance with regulations and internal policies.
- Assist in updating Remisier’s Security Deposit [RSD], deposit & withdrawal of cash, renewal & expiry of Bank Guarantee and share reconciliation for remisier’s RSD account and client’s securitised account.
- Perform credit evaluation to establish limit for remisiers & clients.
- Handle Remisiers’ / Dealer’s Representatives’ requests on trading / credit related matters
- Assist in other areas of risk monitoring functions in CIMB Investment Bank to ensure compliance with the relevant regulations and internal policies.

- Minimum Diploma and/or Bachelor’s Degree in any field.

Manager
Responsibilities :
- Primarily responsible for meeting all management reporting requirements, both internally within the department, and also to external parties (Group Finance, Group committees etc.) This would include a combination of routine monthly reporting requirements, as well as adhoc projects, which require the critical analysis of business performance to drive strategic business planning and implementation.
The tasks within this scope includes:
- Compilation of monthly business data for submission to Group Finance
- Compilation and critical analysis of business performance data
- Preparation of monthly management reports to various committees
- To actively engage with all relevant stakeholders to produce coherent and insightful analytical business reports
- To assist in the conceptualisation, development and implementation of business strategies on the basis of findings from all the analytical work mentioned above.
- To guide and lead team member(s) to ensure all deliverables are met within the stipulation timeframe
Requirements :
- Bachelors in accounting and finance
- Professional qualifications (ACCA/CIMA etc) would be preferred
- Primarily responsible for meeting all management reporting requirements, both internally within the department, and also to external parties (Group Finance, Group committees etc.) This would include a combination of routine monthly reporting requirements, as well as adhoc projects, which require the critical analysis of business performance to drive strategic business planning and implementation.
- 3-4 years working experience in the area of management reporting / financial services (i.e. audit, finance etc).
Skills required for this role:
- High proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
- Familiar with Advanced Excel Functions
- Highly analytical
- Strong communication (verbal & written) skills
- The ideal candidate would take strong initiative, is diligent and good with numbers
Vice President
Responsibilities :
- Review legal and related documentation eg. term sheets, planning memoranda, information memoranda, transaction documents, etc
- Conduct all aspect of due diligence and compliance related work including legal, regulatory and commercial
- Liaise with all relevant regulatory authorities including Securities Commission, Bank Negara Malaysia, etc, including submissions/correspondence to/with regulatory authorities
- Provide legal advice on all aspects of the functions and responsibilities of Debt Capital Markets Unit including regional coverage, where required
Requirements :
- Possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Law
- Minimum 3 years of extensive experience in the area of debt capital markets in a law firm or investment bank. Relevant overseas experience would be an advantage
- Meticulous, resourceful in sourcing for relevant technical knowledge
- Possess strong analytical, problem solving and communication skills
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint is required
- Ability to work under pressure and long hours, ability to work in a team as well as independently, and possession of commercial acumen are essential. Ability to maintain confidentiality is very important.
