Lembaga Pelabuhan Rajang (LPR) are a riverine port at the heart of the longest river in Sarawak, the Rajang River. Comprising of 4 centres of operations, Sibu Port is the principal port and convergence centre for agglomeration of goods for the central region of Sarawak, providing the vital link of the feeder route to the major ports in Malaysia as well as a port of call for ships from various parts of the world.
Lembaga Pelabuhan Rajang (LPR) invites applications from Malaysia citizens who are resident in Sarawak and have the qualifications and conditions of the appointment to fill the vacancy for the following positions:
1. Penolong Akauntan W27
Requirements
Candidates for appointment should possess the following qualifications: -
- Malaysian citizen;
- Not less than 18 years on the closing date of job;
- Diploma in business studies, finance, banking and accounting are recognized by the government of the institutions of higher learning or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto. (Starting salary at grade W27: P1T5): or Licentiate of The Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators of the United Kingdom in the financial field recognized by the government or a recognized equivalent qualification. (Starting salary at grade W27: P1T8);
- pass Bahasa Malaysia / Malay language (including oral examination) at the Malaysian Certificate of Education or equivalent qualification recognized by the government.
Terms of Promotion by Appointment
Serving officer in the service of Assistant Accountant and Administrative Assistant (Finance) has confirmed in service: -
- Qualifications in (5) above; or Passed Special Examination and
- Younger than 54 years on the date of appointment.

The officers who entered this service is subject to the conditions of the service scheme in force and the amendments made ??to it from time to time.
