Shah Alam is administrated by the Shah Alam City Council (MBSA) which was established together with the declaration of Shah Alam as the capital of Selangor.
MBSA, which was formerly known as Shah Alam Municipal Council (MPSA), was established on December 7th, 1978 simultaneously with the declaration of Shah Alam as capital of Selangor Darul Ehsan. However, MBSA administration only began its operation on January 1st 1979.
Applications are invited from Malaysian citizens aged not less than 18 years on the advertisement closing date to fill up the following job vacancies in Shah Alam City Council (MBSA). Priority will be given to the people of His Majesty the Sultan of Selangor Darul Ehsan.

NOTE TO APPLICANT:
i) Age not less than 18 years on the closing date of job;
ii) Applications from those who are currently working with the Government or Statutory Bodies should be through the Head of Department and shall be accompanied with an updated Service Record and Reporting Annual Performance Rating (LNPT) recent;
iii) Applications from the Shah Alam City Council who is serving shall be sent by the Head of Department and Head of the support;
iv) The application must be accompanied by certified copies of certificates;
v) Only applications that filtered list will be called for interviews;
vi) The applicants shall note the position applied on the upper left side of the envelope;
vii) Applicants who do not receive an answer after three (3) months from the closing is not considered successful.
Form (MBSA 1) can be purchased at the Payment Counter (Level G) Wisma MBSA to RM3.00 cash / copies.
