Kerja Kosong MPS – Majlis Perbandaran Selayang or Selayang Municipal Council (MPS) was established on 1st January 1997. It was known previously as Gombak Disttrict Council (MDG) which was established under the Local Government Act 1976, Act 171. MDG was born out of a series of development for several ‘previous Local Government Authorities such as Gombak Township Board, Rawang Township Board, Kuala Ampang Township Board, Taman Keramat PKNS Area and Batu Caves Industrial Area.
