Job Description

Job Descriptions:
Managing the business’s alliance and service contracts to ensure compliance with contractual obligations

Providing contracts function to ensure policies/procedures are adhered to, meeting end-users requirements and optimizing business outcomes that provide value for money

Developing innovative solutions for delivering goods and services and the strategies to accomplish it

Managing contract tender process including preparation of invitations to tender, evaluation of tenders including the analysis of offers, collating and preparation for negotiation of short listed vendors and preparation of orders for the establishment of contracts

Managing Supplier and Contractor relationships

Managing contractors to interpret and monitor adherence to policies and procedures and contractual and statutory requirements

Managing tenders and approval of contracts requiring the interpretation of technical information from drawings, specifications and plant manuals

Developing strategies and plans that will assist the department to meet its business objectives

Dealing with a vast array of complex technical information to source service/commodity, with reference to engineers and other technical experts as necessary

Keep abreast of the latest purchasing and contract management techniques and methodologies and adapt these, where appropriate, to the business

Ensure that the terms and conditions of contracts and orders are applicable to the risks inherent in the scope of works

Take initiative on finding optimum solution on often conflicting legal and commercial arguments and make recommendations to optimize the business outcomes

Job Requirements:
Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/ Business Administration/ Accounting & Finance or equivalent

At least 5 years relevant working experience

Experienced in contract management

Good knowledge of automotive & logistics industries, incoterm, contract law, supplier for logistics and other services/ related commodities

Able to work under pressure and deliver results within tight deadlines

Good communications and able to liaise with all level of peoples

Computer literate in Microsoft Office applications
