To take an active role in generating all technical risk and loss prevention design deliverables.
Functionally reports to: Head of Technical SafetyOperationally reports to: Senior Technical Safety Engineer/Project ManagerKey interactions (internally, externally): Vendors, Clients
The role and accountabilities may include but are not limited to:
Generate quality technical safety deliverables on time and within manhour budget.Discipline Internal Check(DIC) on technical safety reports,drawing and calculations.Interact with other disciplines, 3rd party Subcontractors or Vendors on technical safety matters.
Bachelors Degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering from recognized university.4 to 7 years of experience in Oil and Gas/ Refinery/ Petrochemical especially in loss prevention design or risk assessment studies.Familiar with consequence modelling tools such as PHAST, FRED and QRA methodology.Able to facilitate HAZOP/HAZIP and other safety reviews will be advantageous. Fluent in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
