KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES / RESULTS / PERFORMANCE MEASURES

The Manager is accountable for efficient and effective delivery of operational objectives and assigned projects’ deliverables.

  • Ensure Procurement practices for the respective company is being reviewed periodically.
  • Direct and control all activities relating to procurement and administration of all contracts which includes pre tender and tender exercises, project implementation, post contract and Final Account of completed projects.
  • Improvement of systems Procurement – higher productivity, maximizes utilization of resources and maintaining the highest degree of Integrity.
  • JOB SUMMARY (major functions of position)

  • Responsible for all aspects related to technical and contractual matters for all assigned projects. This is including pre tender and tender exercise, post contract and final account. Verify all appointment of construction contractors.
  • Ensuring all contract management is in accordance to the standard operating procedure and to secure management’s approval.
  • Ensuring proper control on construction cost and to avoid any variation orders.
  • Verifying and checking of the registration of construction contractors and suppliers.
  • Ensuring projects are implemented and completed on time within approved budget. Ensuring acceptable quality of product with minimum defects from assigned projects.
  • Identify project components based on feasibility and financial studies whilst utilizing optimal available resources.
  • Ensuring cost saving for projects.
  • Ensuring projects monitoring system is complies fully with ISO standard, specification and design.
  • Ensure a cohesive working synergy, remains on track and in the right frame of mind among the Project Team for the company to grow and move forward as one entity.
  • Undertakes any other tasks and assignments as directed by the Management.
  • POSITION SPECIFICATIONS

    Qualification

    Degree in Quantity Surveying / Construction Management or any equivalent discipline.

    Desired experience/exposure

    Minimum five (5) years experience with exposure in project or property management/industry.

  • Good Analytical skill in costing and resourceful.
  • Meticulous and good knowledge in project costing and contract administration.
  • Personal attributes

  • Strong communications and interpersonal skills.
  • Independent and able to meet tight deadlines.
